Promise

PROMISE

“i promise”
the word is the biggest lie
you made so many promises
but failed in keeping even one;
promises are worse than lies
you give expectations for something
that you are not sure you can give
didn’t you broke?
I am asking
i can’t take the silence ,
Don’t remain silent,
my nerves have got senseless
i can see through your lies
but why am i ignoring them?
Because i like what you said to me, the lies.

I cared sharply for you
and this is what you put back
broken promises or lies?
what’s my fault?
I am questing
Tearing and choking;
I allowed myself break into pieces and fall,
Forever, to me, is a vacant promise you formed,
to me, forever is something you can never do.
