Memories

Memories

On his hot summer birthday, in his school;

Hearing a sweet voice, he turned back to see a sunkissed face so beautiful;

She wished him a happy birthday, shaking his hands;

A hot loo blew some dust over them like seabeach's sands;

Apart from social media, that was their first meet;

And that was his first thought which came to him to on his car's seat;

Then his lanes of memory took him to that last scene;

The scene in which they bid each other farewell and promising to forget being so mean;

Now, years after, let's come to the present, coming out of his summarised thoughts;

Even that day was also his birthday, which he enjoyed in his office with some mild shots;

Returning home by his car, he stopped by the wet and gloomy road;

On the sight of her, with the back of her umbrella she showed;

He clicked a picture through the hazy glass in that rainy evening;

To fill his empty gallery  hardly of any meaning.
